Site Security Coordinator
The Site Security Coordinator will be responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of security operations within a critical infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise daily security operations.
* Manage contracted guarding services and monitor service delivery.
* Supervise control room, CCTV, access control and perimeter security activities.
* Coordinate incident response and emergency security procedures.
* Conduct preliminary security investigations and provide recommendations.
* Support security risk assessments and risk mitigation activities.
* Implement applicable security requirements, procedures and directives.
* Monitor security developments and report significant concerns.
* Prepare operational security reports and performance indicators.
* Monitor contractor performance and compliance.
* Support crisis management and business continuity activities.
* Liaise with relevant authorities and law enforcement when required.
* Assist with security audits, compliance reviews and corrective actions.
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Law, Military Studies or a related field.
* 5-8 years' experience in industrial, mining, energy or security infrastructure operations.
* Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, mining, utilities or government environments.
* Knowledge of National Key Point requirements or equivalent environments.
* Experience managing relationships with public authorities and law enforcement agencies.
* Fluent English language skills.
Preferred Requirements
* CPP, PSP, PCI, CSMP, PSIRA or equivalent certification.
* Experience in high-risk environments.
* Knowledge of integrated physical and technological security systems.
* Experience in crisis and emergency management
