Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations & Reporting

  • Own and manage quarterly and annual investor reporting processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with shareholders, lenders, advisors, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate inputs across departments to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Respond to investor requests, due diligence queries, and ad hoc analyses.

Fundraising Support

  • Support the CEO throughout capital raising activities.
  • Prepare investor presentations, financial analyses, and fundraising materials.
  • Manage data rooms and due diligence workstreams.
  • Track fundraising pipelines and follow-up actions.

Financial Modelling & Analysis

  • Maintain and enhance the corporate financial model.
  • Build and assess financial scenarios relating to investment, financing, valuation, and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure the accuracy of assumptions and financial outputs across the portfolio.
  • Oversee project modelling activities and provide recommendations to executive leadership and the board.

CEO Office & Strategic Execution

  • Partner closely with the CEO to drive organisational priorities.
  • Track strategic initiatives and ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate across technical, commercial, financial, and legal teams.
  • Prepare board packs, management reports, and meeting materials.
  • Follow up on key actions and decision implementation.

Communications & Brand Positioning

  • Support external communications and corporate positioning initiatives.
  • Develop content including company announcements, milestones, case studies, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Ensure communications align with investor and growth objectives.

Special Projects

  • Lead business improvement and operational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Drive projects from concept through implementation.
  • Work with stakeholders to embed process improvements across the organisation.
  • Monitor progress and report outcomes to executive leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree or postgraduate qualification advantageous.

Experience

  • Proven experience in corporate finance, investment, project finance, consulting, infrastructure, or renewable energy environments.
  • Strong background in financial modelling and financial analysis.
  • Experience supporting fundraising processes, investor relations, and due diligence activities.
  • Exposure to infrastructure, private equity, project development, or energy sectors preferred.
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating senior stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced financial modelling capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong project management abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional language capability advantageous.
  • Understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting considered beneficial.
  • Comfortable working across multiple countries and cultures.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel within West Africa.
  • Ability to work closely with executive leadership and manage competing priorities.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the CEO and has responsibility for managing finance and ESG-related team members. The role works extensively with technical, commercial, finance, legal, and project delivery functions, as well as investors, lenders, and external advisors.


Location

Accra, Ghana

Regular travel across West Africa will be required.
