We're seeking a highly skilled Microsoft D365 Supply Chain Consultant to join our client's team!

Our client is a Microsoft Management and Technology Consulting organisation.

  • This is a 12-Month Contract role
  • This position is Hybrid and requires the Consultant to be in-office 3 x per week.

Key Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a strong D365FO Supply Chain Consultant to join our Business Applications team.

Our Supply Chain consultant will provide functional and technical consulting services, deliver successful implementation and support for Microsoft software projects with a high level of client satisfaction, therefore good communication skills are a must, and great technical ability is advantageous.

  • Develop statement of work and scope documents
  • Perform on-site consulting services for implementation projects
  • Implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Software, with a specific focus on the Supply Chain stream
  • Lead and or participate in the requirement analysis workshops
  • Understand, communicate, interpret, and document business processes and requirements
  • Create and develop design specifications including gap/fit analysis documentation
  • Work with the technical team to design, test, and implement customisations and conduct prototype testing with the client
  • Provide end-user training and end-user support throughout the implementation
  • Provide customers with information regarding upgrades
  • Perform upgrade consulting services in accordance with upgrade principles and approved methodologies
  • Develop and continually refine Microsoft implementation standards, tools and documents
  • Interface with Account manager to ensure customer documentation is correct and up to date
  • Maintain product knowledge on upcoming product releases
  • Investigate and make recommendations on appropriate new technologies and products (including 3rd party products)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree - preference will be given to Industrial Engineering or BCOM in Supply Chain
  • 5 years' Consulting Experience and 3 years' Microsoft D365 Product Experience
  • Must have participated in at least 3 go-live data conversions, and/or upgrades, and/or full cycle implementations
  • Experience within a Consulting Service environment
  • Passionate and ambitious to deliver on the company's strategic plan
  • Possess business consulting, project definition and planning skills
  • Professional and ethical
  • The ability to work under pressure as part of a highly motivated team

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 12 months (Renewable)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: Hourly (Associate to Mid Level, up to 5 years' experience)
  • Location: Hybrid (Johannesburg)
