Sales & Business Development Manager - Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire)Position Summary

An international renewable energy manufacturer is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager responsible for driving sales growth and developing market opportunities across Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire). The role requires a commercially focused individual capable of building strategic customer relationships and identifying new renewable energy opportunities within the region.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness GrowthDevelop and execute country-specific sales and business development strategies.Generate new business opportunities across utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and off-grid segments.Expand market presence through strategic partnerships and channel development.Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, IPPs, distributors, developers, government stakeholders, and major customers.Lead commercial engagements and negotiations.Ensure consistent customer engagement and support.Opportunity ManagementBuild and manage a robust sales pipeline.Monitor project opportunities from identification through award stage.Support tender participation and proposal development processes.Market AnalysisConduct market mapping and opportunity assessments.Monitor policy, regulatory, and competitive developments.Provide regular market intelligence to regional leadership.RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 5 years' experience in sales, account management, or business development within renewable energy, power generation, or electrical infrastructure sectors.Experience selling through partners, distributors, or project channels.Knowledge of the Ivorian energy and infrastructure market would be advantageous.SkillsStrong negotiation and influencing skills.Ability to work autonomously and manage a wide territory.Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.Fluency in French required; English advantageous.
