A leading renewable energy developer is looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to act as the technical authority for electrical systems and grid integration across a portfolio of utility‑scale solar, hydro, and battery storage projects. This is a senior engineering role with responsibility across the full project lifecycle - from development through construction, commissioning, and operational handover - ensuring projects are technically robust, compliant, and optimised for long‑term performance.

Role Overview

The Lead Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership and governance on all electrical aspects of renewable energy projects, including substations, MV/HV systems, protection, and grid connection. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, OEMs, and Owner's Engineers to ensure successful grid integration and operational readiness of new assets.

The O&M Engineer provides essential technical expertise during the O&M phase of their renewable energy projects. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will manage multi-disciplinary engineering aspects to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and optimised for peak performance.
