A leading industrial services and infrastructure solutions provider is seeking an experienced Project Execution Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary projects across energy, water, and waste treatment sectors. This is a senior leadership role focused on engineering, construction management, and project delivery, with responsibility for managing both technical teams and commercial project outcomes across large‑scale industrial facilities.

Role Overview

The Project Execution Manager will take ownership of the technical department and project delivery function, ensuring the successful execution of engineering studies, tenders, and construction projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and work closely with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Construction Leadership

Lead and manage construction teams, including site supervisors, planners, commissioning engineers, and cost controllersOversee full project execution lifecycle from design through to commissioningEnsure projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality constraints

Engineering & Technical Management

Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and control systemsApprove technical deliverables for engineering studies, site audits, and tendersEnsure designs meet client specifications and industry standards

Commercial & Tendering Support

Prepare and lead technical and commercial proposals for tenders and engineering studiesEvaluate vendor and subcontractor proposalsManage pricing, costing inputs, and commercial clarifications with clients

Business Development & Client Engagement

Participate in technical presentations and meetings with clients and partnersSupport business development activities through technical expertiseRepresent the organisation in client engagements, seminars, and industry forums

Portfolio Development

Support development of key business areas including:Energy managementWater treatmentWaste treatment solutionsStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Governance, Safety & Quality

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsMaintain adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards and internal proceduresOversee risk management and quality assurance across all projects

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and project teamsPromote knowledge sharing and continuous improvementFoster a high‑performance, collaborative culture

Minimum Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field10+ years' experience in engineering and project executionProven experience delivering large, complex industrial or infrastructure projectsStrong background in energy, water treatment, waste management, or turnkey projectsProfessional registration (e.g. PrEng) advantageous

Key Skills & Experience

Strong technical knowledge across multidisciplinary engineering environmentsExperience in construction management and project executionStrong commercial acumen and ability to evaluate business opportunitiesExperience managing contracts, vendors, and subcontractorsAdvanced planning and scheduling (MS Project or equivalent)Strong reporting, technical writing, and presentation skills
