About the Role
As a Senior Manager within a Project Finance & M&A advisory team, you will play a central role in transaction execution and client delivery. The position offers exposure to impactful energy and infrastructure transactions, with responsibility for leading advisory mandates related to financial structuring, debt raising, and equity or M&A financing processes. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring the successful delivery of complex assignments while applying strong analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving approaches.
The team operates across the full lifecycle of renewable energy and energy transition projects, providing services including development equity advisory, mergers and acquisitions, debt advisory, and strategic support. Projects span multiple technologies such as solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, energy storage, hydrogen, and broader decarbonisation initiatives. You will join a collaborative and internationally connected environment, working closely with colleagues across multiple regions.

Role and Responsibilities
Taking responsibility for advisory missions e.g. relating to financial structuring, raising required debt or supporting M&A equity finance transactionsLeading the interactions with clients, banks and other project stakeholdersSupervising financial analysts on the development and management of financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projectsOverseeing due diligence processes including work prepared by your internal team (associates and analysts) and by other advisorsGathering of market intelligence on sectors of interest to the company such as electricity markets, debt markets or venture capital marketsParticipating actively in the business development in Germany and the wider EMEA region by proactively maintaining relationships with existing clients, developing your network and reaching out to new potential clientsBeing active in sharing knowledge internally within the local, regional and international teamActive participation in an entrepreneurial, international and dynamic team focused on making projects happen and going the extra mile for the clientRequirements and Experience

About the Role
As an Analyst on the project finance & M&A deal team, you will be right in the middle of all the action. You will be working on impactful transactions and will be accountable for the smooth execution of advisory missions relating to financial structuring, raising required debt or leading M&A equity finance transactions. This is the ideal job for you to apply your analytical skills and curiosity for out-of-the-box solutions.
You will be joining a growing Hamburg-based team of around 15 and work in close collaboration with colleagues in Africa, Americas, Asia, and Europe on our projects.
