We are recruiting an experienced Service Manager on behalf of an established organisation operating within the mining and heavy equipment sector in Zambia.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing technical service operations, managing multidisciplinary teams, driving operational performance and maintaining strong relationships with mining customers and OEM stakeholders.

Manage workshop and field service operations, ensuring efficient maintenance, repairs and technical support.

Lead, develop and manage teams of technicians, supervisors and service personnel.

Oversee departmental budgets, operational KPIs, cost control and service performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity, profitability and service delivery.

Manage key mining customer relationships, service agreements and operational escalations.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.

Proven mining industry experience is essential.

Demonstrated experience in a Service Manager, Field Service Manager, Workshop Manager or equivalent operational leadership position.

Strong technical background in mining equipment, heavy machinery, OEM services or aftermarket operations.

Proven experience managing technical teams, workshop operations and field service activities.

Sound financial acumen, including budgeting, cost management and operational performance.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent English communication skills.

Willingness to relocate to Zambia for an initial 12-month contract.

Experience within established mining equipment OEMs or authorised dealerships will be highly advantageous.
