Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports

Project & Contract Accounting
Oversee financial management of large-scale projects and contracts
Monitor project profitability, cost tracking, and revenue recognition
Ensure accurate work-in-progress (WIP), forecasting, and margin analysis
Partner with project teams to support financial performance and controls
Multi-Entity & Regional Oversight
Manage financial operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions
Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidations
Ensure alignment with local regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements
Cashflow & Treasury Management
Manage cashflow forecasting and liquidity across entities
Oversee working capital, payments, and funding requirements
Support treasury activities and banking relationships
Audit & Compliance
Lead and coordinate external audits
Ensure strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks
Maintain compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a key finance partner to:
Project Managers and Operational Teams
Regional and Group Finance leadership
External auditors and advisors
Provide financial insights and support strategic decisions
Team Leadership
Manage and develop a finance team, ensuring performance and capability growth
Drive accountability and continuous improvement within the finance function
Process Improvement
Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, and controls
Enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5-8 years' experience in finance/accounting, ideally within:
Engineering, EPC, mining, infrastructure, or project-based environments
Proven experience in:
Project accounting and contract-based financial management
Multi-entity or regional finance oversight
IFRS reporting and statutory compliance
Experience managing cross-border operations or working within African markets is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to:
