Our client is an Independent Power Producer, a leading player in the energy industry, dedicated to producing clean and sustainable energy solutions that power communities and drive economic development. They are now seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Analyst (FP&A Manager) to join their dynamic team and make a positive impact on local economies through sustainable energy projects.
The role is to provide the business with 'real time' support, analysis, planning & reporting and to add value that will assist in decision making. The Corporate Finance Analyst (FP&A Manager) works in providing short term and long-term planning and significant input to the strategic planning and business plan for the entire subsidiary.
Position: Corporate Finance Analyst (FP&A Manager)
Location: Cape Town
Salary: R1mil (Includes Medical and Provident Fund) + Performance bonus
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years in Financial Planning, Budgeting, AnalysisMulti-National experienceAdvanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, V lookups)Strong attention to detailCA(SA) preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Finance Business Partner to Enable the budget owners, project leaders and senior management to provide timely and accurate information.Comparison of current year actuals to plan and prior year actuals and analyses variances for both internal and corporate reporting.Analyse and provide key findings to be presented to senior leadership audience.Dialogue around planned spend to improve planning accuracy.Take part in the preparation of the various planning cycles (Budget, LE2, LE3)
