We're looking for an experienced and technically inclined Senior Asset Manager for a key player in the renewable energy sector, with significant growth plans. The perfect fit for this role will apply their vast technical experience to ensure optimal performance across PV, Wind, and BESS projects by managing commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting aspects. They will also serve as the key point of contact for the Company, Board, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Assume responsibility and accountability for SPV asset management across multiple assets. Support asset managers and analysts and provide oversight across a portfolio of assets. Drive financial and operational performance to ensure optimal project outcomes and returns. Identify and implement strategic initiatives to enhance profitability. Monitor project-level profit & loss (P&L) activities, cash flows, and budgets. Manage project financing agreements, insurance activities, and stakeholder relations.Prepare and present reports to the Board of Directors and stakeholders.Support development and construction teams.Manage social investment programs and risk management frameworks.

Required Skills and Experience:

Engineering (preferably Electrical) qualification with advanced financial/commercial acumen. 5-10 years of commercial experience in a South African infrastructure asset management environment. Strong experience in contract management, financial modelling, and analysis.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data interpretation.Proven project management and reporting skills, including experience reporting to Boards.Understanding of PV, Wind, and BESS design, operation, and commercial drivers.
